How to protect yourself from Covid-19?
How to protect yourself and others?
It is more than recommended to wash your hands often and always observe the rules of respiratory hygiene. It's the best way to protect yourself and others. If possible, move at least 1m50 away from others. This is especially important if the person closest to you coughs or sneezes. Wear a mask and do not touch the surface with your hands.
If COVID-19 is confirmed after the test, you should be quarantined for 14 days even after the symptoms disappear, just in case.
You can reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection or transmission by taking a few simple precautions:
- Wash your hands frequently with an alcoholic solution or soap and water.
Why? It will kill the virus if it is on your hands.
- Stay at least one meter from the others.
Why? When people cough or sneeze, they expel small droplets that may contain viruses. If you are too close, you can inhale these droplets, so if the carrier is a person, you can inhale the virus responsible for COVID-19.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Why ? Your hands touch many surfaces that can be infected with viruses. If you touch your eyes, nose, or mouth, the virus enters your body and infects you.
- Make sure you respect the rules of respiratory hygiene, as well as those around you. If you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with your elbow or handkerchief, then immediately throw away the handkerchief and wash your hands.
